Default Power Outlet Issues

Well I read the forums before I posted. I seek your help guys. My power outlets have stopped working. I was in the car the other day and my radar detector stopped working. I wiggled the cable and POW, sparks.

I then had no power in the outlet. I came home today and checked the #19 fuse under the hood. It was fine. What else could cause all 3 to not work? I need my radar detector!

Well my cell phone charger wouldn't work in any of the three outlets either....any suggestions?

update: I also removed the center panel and even inspected the socket plug. It doesn't look burned up or shorted out.

I am so frustrated!!!

Not sure what year your PT is but on the '03 the power outlets are powered off of fuse 20 rather than 19. Sometimes a fuse looks good when it isn't. The fuse should control all three outlets.

Remember that the rear outlet and the front "cigar lighter" outlet only work when the key is in the ACC or Run positions.
