I have 72K miles on my 02 Touring Edition and the driver's side sun visor has broken again. It was replaced 2 times during the warranty.
Is there anywhere to get a less expsnsive replacement than the dealer who quoted about $80 for the part? And while I was trying to get the dangling visor out of my line of signt, I noticed the power locks quit working from inside the car or with the keyless entry. This follows my fog light problem a few weeks ago where I opted to disconnct the lights instead of replacine the multifunction switch for about $200. ANy thoughts on what I could do to check the power locks or are they controlled by the switch that does the fog lights? 3 problems within a month are vERY annoying (and I drive >100 miles a day Thanks for your info Ronda |

Try eBay for the sunvisors.

THanks for the advice. I went to a different dealer today who can get the visor for $35. AND, he informed me that when I cut the wire from the visor (so it wasn't dangling in my face as I was driving) that I probably caused a fuse to blow. He was nice and for FREE he showed me where the fuse box was, pulled the fuse, and sure enough, it had blown. He also replaced it with no labor cost (this was the parts guy, the service guy told me it would not be a fuse that it would be an expensive part).
