That has got to be one of the most pathetic products I have seen in years. What a riot. Reminds me of kids putting playing cards on their bicycle wheel spokes for the sound effects. By the time you add the speakers and amp, you would have more into it than a good exhaust system.

You two have no sense of fun. this looks quite amusing to me. I would want to hear some quality samples of it before spending that much.

I doubt anyone even thought that at times the only way to tell if you have a problem with your engine is by the sound. You could be about to kill the engine and you wouldn't hear the problam because this product would not make your engine sound like it should.

This looks like it might be Just the Thing for hybrids when they are running on 'electric only' mode....

So don't be surprised if the Toyota Pious* next to you in traffic sounds like an old-school big block with open headers.

If it can be made small enough, owners of Japanese V-Twin motorcycles will be able to really duplicate the distinctive 'Thump-Thump, Thump-Thump' of a certain American V-Twin.

But as for 'useless' mods: It is certainly better than those gadgets that promise magical horsepower and gas milage increases but don't have any dyno results to prove the claims.

*so named for the Greener-than-Thou attitude exhibited by thier owners

How's this change the sound of your car? It will make it sound like your listening to engines revving & idling instead of music.
Pretty damn lame if you ask me. "hey, sit in my car & listen". "You hear that"? That is a GTO...oh hold on let me turn up the BASS. There ya go". "Oh, how about this. Turn up the treble. That is a GTO...on NNAAAWWWSSS!!!" ...LOL

If you really want to listen to different engine there are CD's you can buy that have samples on them. They are like $5

Actually, it would be funny if it had the sound of a Yugo and was played by a Corvette, Cobra or Viper when they pulled up next to a cop.
