No, I don't what brand of wax, sealant, or polish was used but since the custom paint work was finished less than 90 days ago I'm not sure if any "finish work" had been done since most graphic artists recommend a minimum 60 days or more before applying anything to new paint.

While a car's finish is very important at a show event I seriously doubt whether or not it is the deciding factor for taking first place, IMHO. Each show is different--the number of cars entered, what the "judges" are looking for, etc. From my limited experience, the exterior paint holds the most weight and, usually, the cars that take first place have "extreme" flames, graphics, or air-brushed artistic designs on them. (Spiderman PT is good example.) IMHO, you get absolutely no "credit" for underhood performance modifications--it seems all that really matters is a clean engine bay and lots of "bling-bling".

When you participate in a car show do it for the "fun factor" and if you win something that's all the better--"frosting on the cake" so to speak. [8D] Just my two cents. [8]
