Default shift light

i have a shift light in my car and i dont know what wire to attach it to!! does anybody know what wire to attach it to? i dont want to ruin anythin on my car!

I didnt know pts came with shift lights

pt cruisers dont come with shift lights...i put it in there myself and i dont know how to attached it!!!

I think that the signal for the light works off the RPM. I think that an aftermarket tach needs a special module/sender on Cruisers because they don't have a distributor so that may be what is required for a shift light, too.

Anybody have the straight scoop on this?[:I]

I have a lighted flame ball in my cruiser. I ran it under the console to it's own switch.

it did come with directions but it doesnt have anything about a pt cruiser. cause its not a common car to put a shift light in.
