Default Finally enjoying my car

In my business I drive all kinds of cars, and I must say my Cruiser is still most fun to drive. Unless you own one, people don't understand. I have people coming up to me saying why a Cruiser?, I say, because its a blast. Sunday I won third place in the 90's to present class. Beating out some really nice rides. My car shows well now after doing so many mods, and I'm glad I finally get to drive it and ejoy it without thinking about my next mod. Here is some advice to new B's just starting out moding their car. Try to keep it under 30K, don't do what I did. [:X]Gary

People don't understand how much fun this car is. Congrats on the placing at the show (or showing at the show)

The PT is the neatest car to drive and to MOD. Having just sold my '02 that I had chromed out the exterior, I now have a new '06 project/"canvas" to decide what I'm going to do with it. [^]

That's cool, Gary!

I think to enjoy my car more, I need gas prices to come down a lot, and I want to switch out the cloth seats for leather, new head-unit and speakers, maybe a dvd player... Oh, and lowering springs - I definitely need the car to be lower.

Robert, I don't want to sway you in any way, but I had lowering sprinigs in my car for a week and I could not wait to remove them, The ride was rough, and they made noise when going over bumps. But that's just me. as far as your seats, have you considered changing the material in them? it cost me $600 to color match to the outside. I think that mod is what got me in the top ten at the Block party, I love how it looks. Gary

That's good advice, Gary. I like the idea of color matching the seats - that might look really cool.
