Don't forget, your back seat passengers can now lower their windows with their toes.

I personally like them on the door so i can lock out my passangers, and prevent them from having fresh air the entire trip[?][^][:X][8][]

The PT is the first rig with power windows I've owned so when I drive my Dakota I reach for the dash to open the windows. I prefer the dash location myself.
I agree. It took some getting used to, but I also prefer them on the dash. It leaves alot more room on the doors like the Iceman said, is much easier to test and fix if there is a problem, and it makes the doors look clean and tight going along with the retro look by making the doors look like an old car's would with no window switches. The design is unique, clean and uncluttered. [:X] It also makes it easier for the passenger to roll down the driver's windows and say to the cop knocking on the drivers window (when the car is double parked for example with no driver), "I'll move it right now!" I like them on the center console. It's just weird when I go out of town and rent a car for three days, I always reach for the center console by habit.

That's the dumbest part. Why not on top of the rea of the console? Maybe when you flip the seats stuff would've hit the switches?[:I]

On my prior car before the PT, the switches were on the door armrest like many others. Well, my dog Trudy stood on the armrest and lowered the window and then proceeded to jump out(she saw another dog) Fortunately I was in the neighborhood doing around 20mph so I stopped the car right away to get hold of her but in my haste I left my door open which my other dog Anchor jumped out to join in on the fun. So here I am now holding both dogs by their collars being dragged like a rat all over the place. Minor cuts and brusies later they're back in the car.
I happen to like where the placement of where the Cruisers window switches are needless to say!!
