I've heard it was done to save money, no suprise. Still for the price the PT has a lot more Bling Bling than other cars in the same price range. Our other car is a Sebring so going back an forth from another car I do find myself reaching on the door for the window control. But I can live with it, to many other things I enjoy about the car. An besides its alwasy fun to watch when someone new gets in the car and trys to find out how to open the window.

LOL it is funny, i am not a fan of power windows, because i know when i am passanger, that the driver can roll up the window at any time, as sence i rest my arm on the door, i am afraid of gettin rolled up in there.

Since I am rarely the passenger, I appreciate the heck out of power windows. Spent too many years with trying to lean across seats to roll down windows and unlock doors. No thank you on manual stuff.

[:I] A friends Saab has the window switches on the console near the shifter, sorta makes having them on the dash more sensible.

ever wonder why the pt is sooo roomy inside and wide? its cause the switches left the doors and joined the center console. [:X]

The PT is the first rig with power windows I've owned so when I drive my Dakota I reach for the dash to open the windows. I prefer the dash location myself.
