[:I]Mine also has gain rest twice last week!! I truely wish somebody had some connection with the Big wigs at Chrysler because thet deny there is a problem! Any idea s gang? [8)]

[:I]From what I have read...it is not that they deny the problem...they dont have a fix for it. A few had there cluster replaced and that did not solve it.....seems like static is the cause.

Well, mine has graduated to resetting every time I turn off the ignition and restart. Any ideas to fix it or who with now 50,000 miles who I can complain to?? The odometer is fine as is all the other functions. I did get rid of a nasty sound comming from the rear of the car over large bumps. My spare tire was loose by about a 1/8 of a turn on the nut. [8)]

[:I]Chrysler certainly does deny there is a problem! Ive called them & they act like it never happened! Its not a safty issue so they just choose to ignore it! Someday when all cars are not american they will wish they listened! Just my opinion! VW has almost slipped away being ignorant to the consumer & now are begging for buyers!! Chrysler needs to listen on this one!!! [8]

My 2003 GT was resetting the trip metre, and it was getting progressively more frequent...until it was happening every time I turned the car on.
Last week, my OBD light came on and the car died while driving. Seems that my battery was beyond dead. However, I really had no idea as everything (except the trip meter and occasionally flickering headlights) was fine, including the start. We put a new battery in and low and behold...the trip metre is working fine. Even if your Cruiser is starting and running fine, I would suggest checking the charge on the battery. |

[:I] I will, when it goes in next week for state inspection at the dealer......Thankyou. ( although its done it since new!!) ,,, I do beleive it is electrical & Chrysler is aware of it but is ignoring it since first of all they dont know a reasonable fix & its not something that would cause an accident! American manufacturers need to wake up & hear all our concerns if they truly want to make it!!They have car here that is & can be as good as the imports but service still is shoddy at best!!!! My opinion! [8]

Mine is an 03 Limited with 59K miles, and the trip reset thing has never happened that I know of. I do know that my 'SET' light for the cruise control doesn't work, and never has, I never said anything about it when the car was under warranty, because I didn't want them to take apart my dash and cause rattles in the car. The cruie works fine though.
