Has anyone had the passenger side wheel well linner loosen and come down on the tire? It was an easy and very inexpensive fix but kinda unusual! Dealer charged wifey $4.50 for two plastic rivets/screws and installed both of them for free while she waited. Not sure how the original rivets came out. Car has 43,000 miles on it and never has been driven on a dirt or gravel road. [8)]

Have you had any work done on the cruiser by the dealer or someone else. The passenger side wheel well is the way the front of the engine is accessed to get to the belts, steering pump and lots of other parts. If someone has done some work, they might have forgotten to put the rivets back in after putting back the liner.

It was the rear wheel well liner that came down on the rear wheel. I did put the rear flaps on but that was about 35,000 miles ago. Wife heard the noise right after she went out of the driveway at work but it is not a real bumpy transition.
