I had the same problem. I got out with the car still running, hit the rocker lock switch to unlock the rear hatch, and then shut the drivers door. The hatch was still locked, ...and now so was the drivers door![xx(] This happend on my way home from a cross country trip, but fortunately was close enough to the house for someone to bring me an extra set of keys to unlock it with. I was at the local car wash, where I wash it after a long road trip. When I took it in to the Chrysler dealer to have it fixed under warranty, they started saying that a thief might have tried to break in, and could have damaged it, so the warranty wouldn't cover it. But then admitted that they didn't really know why it broke, so they replaced it under warranty.
