Default stalls when slowing to stop

I have a 2001 PT. Recently in the past month when turning to to left, to slow down to stop for a crosswalk for example, the engine dies. Tried re-starting, car tries to turn over, doesn't start.

Take the key out, re-insert into ignition, then car will start. Thought it was an ignition type issue, this was replaced, issue has not gone away.

Any ideas???

intermittent problems are the toughest. I'd say tighten all grounds (good idea anyway), check the PCM and steering column connector terminals.
Using a scan tool, the length of time until a code sets can be shortened. This is one way to diagnose spastic wiring.

The first time it happened, the car was towed to a shop to be diagnosed. They put it on the computer and nothing showed up. The check engine light doesn't come on. It is going into the shop next week to see if they can drive it and have the issue happen. I'll mention your idea. Thanks.

At least at or about 20,000 miles change plugs Champion 7440/7570 gap at .040, Chrysler Preformace Wires P 4876511 ($48) or Magnacore from Race & Street.

Use dielectric grease on plug wires and anti-sieze on the plug threads.

They are not hard to replace, remove Intake and use a bungee cord to hold it out of the way, and remove/replace one at a time. Theey are torqued as well as the 5 bolts used on the intake. Not sure of the torque specs for either. Maybe someone else can give that info.

Agree w/ Hooligan - that's where I was going with questions...
Champion platinum plugs, I found Crane wires from RaceAndStreet excellent & a good buy - point is stock wires are crap.....
I admit I torqued by feel on plugs and manifold - (go to snug, then 1/4->1/2 turn beyond)
