Default Annoying headrests?

Hi all! I am considering buying a 2006 base model Cruiser, but during a very brief test drive it seemed as if the front headrests were angled so far forward that they might be annoying. Can anyone comment on this? Has it been/not been a problem for you? Thanks for all responses!

Shirley

Not too many on forums with '06s, and not sure if seats changed. Might be a height-dependent (or torso - dependent) issue. I've seen no gripes.[:I]
Try inclining or reclining seat a bit and see if that alters it.

I don't know if the '06 headrests tilt forward or backward but they should adjust up and down for sure. That may be enough to allow you to find a sweet spot that suits you.[:I]

I saw those headrests on the Rt66 model at my dealer. It looks like a doughnut angled forward at about 20 degrees from the seatback. I can't tell you anything about the headrest but my wife really likes the new seat bottoms. Accoriding to her a$$, they're much softer than earlier models. That will be my pitching point when it's time to sell her on a new PT.

Actually, after test driving both 2005 and 2006 Cruisers, I bought an electric blue 2005 this past Saturday! I felt like the whole interior of the 2006 was a bit "colder" and less comfortable. I found my perfect car and now I am all smiles! It is a dream come true!

I have a '06 Limited and have no problem with headrests. The way my seat is adjusted gives me no problem. I had a '02 previously and like the '06 better. My .02 worth.
