At $14.99 plus shipping, you are better off to get one from the local Mopar dealer for $14.00 with no shipping at all.
Why throw away your money to USPS or UPS?

If, for example, it would cost more in terms of time, travel costs and wear and tear on our nerves at the local dealer?
IE: I would have to take time off from work to get to the dealer during parts dept. hours, and there is an odds-on chance they 1) never heard of it, and 2) finally admit it is in the parts book, and 3) have to order it.

I, for one, would rather give my money to UPS than to the Oedipus Rexes at my local '5-star' dealership.

Another good point, especially with the clowns at my local dealer. I'd rather pay a few extra bucks and sit back and relax. Besides, I like getting packages in the mail, feels like christmas or birthday time.

That is another good, point. I too would rather get it from the dealer, how ever the dealer, usually doesn't know what it is that Im looking for and also they usually have to order it. Plus I too have to take time off to get there.

I have been trying this week, and so far nothing, soooo, I think I might as well just order it from a store online.

Thanks again for the help

I was going to order a cabin filter when I ordered my '03 gt, but was told by the dealer that they all came with the filter. A year or so after I got my gt I asked about the need to replace the filter and was told that since I never take my gt off the pavement, and I don't allow smoking in it, the filter wouldn't likely ever need replacing. I dont' even know where to look for it.

andym.
Smoking in your PT has nothing to do with the cabin air filter.
The filter only filters air going from the outside and into the PT through the HVAC system not the inside air like a house system. On or off the pavement doesn't matter, dust, pollen, bugs even small leaves are everywhere and can be drawn into the system and if it collects on the coils, can lead to the funky odor people talk about coming from the A/C vents here on the forums. The filter isn't a cure all for the funky odor but helps prevent it.

Filter is located below the cowl housing on the passenger side.

Well ordered and got my filter. Getting to the dealer was a P.I.T.A. I also noticed that my PT didn't have any filter previously installed?? Is that common? Well now it is better. All thought I only used it once cause the wheather down here is nice now I don't need the AC.

Thanks for all the help.
