It appears that only 2189 were ever made:
http://www.ptcruiserclub.org/gforum....es%202;#181177

"...have an e-mail from Chrysler stating that 2189 Tangerine Cruiser were the actual number made..."

"...talked to Chrysler and they told me only 2,189 cars were made on the 2003 Dream Cruiser 2.
They were to make 7,500 units but came out late on Jan. 2003 and the price scared some people away."

#1582 here [8)]
Gary, could you please post the text of that discussion here for those who are not members of the PTCC site?
Also, any idea on the breakdown of 5-speeds vs. autosticks made?

Thanks,
Brian

Not very practical as this is a very long thread. The best way to get accurate information to questions of this nature is to contact DC directly by either telephone or email (I did) as they are very responsive from my experience.

The PT Cruiser Club Forums is an excellent site/resource for information that I would highly recommend: http://www.ptcruiserclub.org/gforum.cgi
It costs you nothing to join and participate in the General Public Forums -- just register and then login. They hava a special forum devoted exclusively to the Dream Cruiser Series [8D] (all models) with a wealth of good information that I am sure you would find helpful: http://www.ptcruiserclub.org/gforum.cgi?forum=27;

Good luck.

If there were only 2189 units made, how is it that our badge # is 2737?[:I]

I understand the badge numbers were put on at random and are not consistent with the arctural number of cars.
BTW my car is #1350 and it a auto.
