any recommendation out there?, shall I use the generic Kragen shocks?, anyone changed these?
Love my 2001 PT and want to do what is best. gychang |

If one or both of the shocks have given way and wont' hold the hatch open any longer, go with anythng that will work. If the Kragen are cheaper than what Chrysler wants for replacements, go for it. On my 01, the shocks hold the hatch up ok, but when I pull it open I have to give it a hand to open all the way...probably looking for a set of replacements pretty soon myself.

all of the aftermarket struts are built to a price point (cheaper). One thing to check is if they list 2. Get the one for a heavier load (with wing in this case) if possible.

Wicket_pt I have a spoiler on bk & can't believe I didn't think about that before. As my hatch won't stay up at times, well like they say live & learn.............[^]

Here are the Best! Scroll down to rear hatch, and If you are concerned about spoiler weight, just ask Blane. http://home.pcmagic.net/blajess/ ![]() Quote:
