WTB 2004 Service Manual or CD/DVD -- if exists?

Hi folks, new here --

Lately I've been getting deeper into several 2004 PT Cruiser projects. The PT belongs to my wife, but you'all know the problems are mine Smile

I've found a 2003 Factory Service Manual in print for $80+, but that's not a 2004. Is there a preferred resource for buying a 2004 Factory Manual? Would I expect to see Wiring diagrams, Electronic controls, as well as all the normal Mechanical sections?

I don't see any HTML, CD/DVD Service Manuals out there anywhere. Do these PC based formats exist?

I really don't have a preference other than the PC formats are easier to copy/paste pieces to help others online.

I would think, your friendly neighborhood, Chrysler Dealer, Parts Department, would be the place to go... I paid about $80.00 for my service manuals... Also, yes they include just about everything you could think of to work on your wifey's Cruiser!!

Here's a 2003 Service Manual you can download for free. Although it comes from a United Kingdom PT site, I'm not sure if it's the same as ours or it might even be a U.S. version. It has 2052 pages and I stoped downloading it when I saw how big it is. Good Luck.

there used to be pirated copies in Ebay, haven't checked lately.
The printed factory manuals are 1. Service Manual, 2. Powertrain, 3. Body, 4. Transmission (A/T). the first will get you through most procedures and has the wiring. 2-4 are electronic diagnosis manuals.

I went on e bay and got a 2003 CD Manual for $10.00. Try there.

I have the 2004 manual CD in front of me right now.
My Chrysler dealer has ordered each manual for all 5 years of PT for me. None are E-bay copies. Your dealer can get them in under a week, with no shipping costs.
