I HAVE 22000 MILES ON MY PT,AND THE BRAKES HAVE BEEN MAKING NOISE SINCE I HAD 12000 MILES ON IT.I HAD THEM [:I]CHECKED,THEY CLEANED THEM AND SAID THEY LOOK GOOD??IT IS DRIVEING ME NUTS.CAN ANYONE HELP??DO I NEED NEW PADS AND SHOES??

WELCOME TO THE FORUM, barpole 16. My suggestion would be to replace them with ceramc pads. You will have less brake dust and will have new brakes. If you do the labor yourself it will be less that $100 total.
Did you take it to a reputable place? Was the car bought "as is"? |
