Default Don't Buy eBay Headlights

Im fuming. If you may recall I asked how to aim the headlights on our PT as the new ones I got were pointing too low. I got instructions and thought I was a giant idiot b/c I couldnt figure out how to aim the darn things.

Well, I emailed the company and after getting the run around...I got the bad news.

THEY ARE NON ADJUSTABLE!

What a crock! Luckily I have a spare set of brand new headlights I was hoping to save for my HID project....looks like those are getting cracked open and painted and these are going to be experimented on.

Warn others wen this subject comes up. Thanks. Have a nice day!

Lauren,

You didn't mention what the vendor's name or username is. How can we stay away. I bought new Diamond Cut Halogen headlights for my Vette off eBay and they work and fit great, so all headlight vendors aren't bad.

I bought Headlights on EBay they were 1/2 the cost of the dealship. They worked out great, it was a bit of work to do the change out, but I goter done with the help of some instructions from this forum. I make sure I look at the feedback % when I buy on Ebay.[8D] I remmber you skigt from way back you did some good stuff to your ride, you must have gotten some junk parts. What was the vendor? [:I]

Thanks for linking the PTE thread.

They ARE ADJUSTABLE. The vendor I bought from was an idiot and told me they werent. All you need is a very long screwdriver and not the normal torx wrench.

My euros were from ebay, they didn't shine as well either. Got them to adjust the best I could, thats way I took apart my stocks and removed the reflectors. Much better shine, but did love those euros when I first got them installed.

I'm not sure are you talking about just the bulb or the whole housing. If your talking about the whole housing it take at least 2 hours. Lots involved removing the tire, front grill exct. [8D]
