Default Plug wire size

Magnacore makes a 7 mm and an 8 mm plug wire. The 8 is blue and costs about 5 bucks more, is there really any benefit to going to the 8 mm with a non turbo 2.4? Looking to put platinum Champions too.
Thanks in advance for the info.

I agree. Just don't go with stock - they are crap. I'd say go with Crane or magnecore.[?]

BarberPole16 -
I also just installed MAGSTAR 8.5mm pro 100 super inductive race wires in my GT. Frankly, I don't notice a difference aside from the mis-fires I was getting with my old stock wires with 40,000 miles on them.

Are you saying that you notice more power? What is the big difference you are talking about? Maybe you are talking about the plugs and gap.

I paid the extra money in the hopes that they will last longer.
