[8)]Has anyone successfully removed their Mopar /duals & reinstalled the factory single exhaust? I want it for another PT... What did you do about the cut out on the bumper? Help with ideas? Thanks MJB[?]

When I traded to the '06, I told the dealer the duals would not be on the car. I removed them and replaced with a exhaust (If you don't have the original, contact raceandstreet.com) Maggie has a bunch in her warehouse. I paid over $200 for a replacement locally, wouldn't do that again.
The cut out on the bumper I didn't worry about as it was a trade in. |

[8)]Ok Thanks... Ive had them on for almost 3 years... Any trouble removing them? Also how did it run afterwards,,just curious.... did you notice the difference since they were off? Again...Thanks MJB[8]

I have the Bassani Stainless Steel duals. Really didn't care how it sounded or ran, I used it for a trade in.

Yeah. On my '05, I was anxious to get my BTG duals in and try them out. I noticed there was an oval opening above where the second pipe would go. I took a very large washer, tilted it to get it in the hole, put a long carriage bolt thru it, drilled a hole in the plastic, and pulled it up to clear the exhaust. I was going to cut the hole later, but never saw the need to. You could do that, then you wouldn't see the cutout.
