the '06 is butt ugly

i think the new front end treatment on the '06 is butt ugly, yet i've been seeing more and more 06s on the road. am i the only one that doesn't care for the new front end treatment?[:I] i don't get it...

I don't mind the outside looks, but the inside (dash controls) looks like a rebots face[)]

It's all about what you like.I don't care for the
head lites. but I don't mind the front end.I don't like the inside at all,but I'm told it really looks neat at night when
your light are on.I like the route 66 yellow Cruiser,but have not seen one in person yet.

I like the headlights, that's it, the rest seems to be a step backwards, except maybe the backup lights.

Having owned an 04 and now an 06 I can honestly say that I like the 06 much more. Seeing the two side by side I like the 06 much better. Also, I love the new interior. I just keep waiting for more mods to come out for it.

I have to say the new car looks as good as the old. I don't have any complaint.

I also feel the interior trim is improved over the old. The problem I have with the exterior and interior redesign is that I think that also used the same styling for the dodge stratus and neon

Instead of face lift and interior redesigning they should improve the current interior and exterior trim level. they do look kinda nice in design but put in with crap

I don't know they don't look all that bad, but a few things comes to mind when looking at that interior. Whats with the oh sh_t handle on the passenger dash! And talk about originality; what other Chrysler car has a similar looking dash with an old clock in the center, cough, 300, cough! The interior to me looks very plastic, I mean I know the old ones had alot of molded parts in them too, but it looks so fake on this one. The PT has a very round, curvy body, but the inside of the 06 reminds me a of 300C or a Jeep Commander just rigid and boxy which the PT is anything but. And being the stereo goof that I am I can't imagine putting in an aftermarket headunit in the one piece molded dash, goodluck to Metra on that one. The exterior to me is far more curvy than the old ones(by old I mean 00-03)the front end flows nicely without some clunky fat bumper sticking out from the middle of nowhere. Gives the front end a more agressive stance that doesn't take a way from that trademark PT front end we've all come to notice on the roads. So I'd buy one and then probably break it modifing it.

I have an aftermarket radio in my 06 and i don't think it looks that bad.I had the install kit smoothened out and painted.I also painted the center stack to match.As far as the interior.If you look at a base model the interior looks like there is way 2 much grey plastic.On the rte 66 the small chrome acents here and there make a big difference.The front end of the car could use some help but i guess thats what the aftermarket companies are for.If they made the car perfect from the factory............what would we have to talk about?

Had a 2002, now have 2006. Happy with it especially the redesigned guages. The 02's were set to deep and when driving with sun glasses were hard to see.

But to each their own!!!
