Who has owned a 01-05 & now purchased an '06 with a least a turbo-lite? Was it worth it? Is the MPG better over the NA version? Express your reviews! Thanks [8)]

Since mechanically the '06 is the same as the '05, I'll chime in.
I had an '02 that I traded in w/87,000 miles on a turbo lite. Both cars equipped identically. (auto, sunroof, 4-wheel ABS). I added an AirAid and Bassani duals to the '02, have a K&N FIPK & BTG duals on the '05. I am getting close to 2 MPG MORE on the Lite than I did on my '02. I traded mainly because my son is off to college, and expecting my '02 to last 4 more years I didn't feel was wise... I love the new car - for the past 5,000+ miles I averaged 25.31 MPG. The added 30 horses are nice to have - hills and passing are a breeze. [?]

I have two Cruiser's 03 N/A and 04 turbo lite. I love them both.
The turb.o lite is my favorite. Both are limited's,but the turbo lite has a little more zip which I like and if I want more I can add a stage 1.I really like the 06 route 66 yellow, but still haven't seen one other than in pictures.

Traded my '01 Ltd for an '06 GT.
I think the '06 is a better car. But, no the MPG is not better. With a little over 8,000 miles it is getting close to the MPG of the '01. ![]()

MPG-wise I think the car does better at highway speeds. If you have to do stop and go every day, your MPG will suffer, these cars like to run rich on fuel. I average 20 mpg commuting to work, but I get 24-25 mpg when I travel. Sorry for the threadjack.
I've only owned my 02, but thinking about getting a PT for the wife.
