Beware! The scam artists are lurking.
I received an email from someone claiming to have a client who wanted to buy my PT Cruiser. Due to his poor grammar, spelling and lack of knowledge I became very suspicious. I asked him who he was and who he worked for. He replied by claiming to represent a company that sells cars online. I contacted that company and was informed that they have had several similar cases where people claimed to represent them and confirmed my suspicion that it was a scam. Be careful if you are trying to sell your PT Cruiser through any of the forums. These scam artists have been known to get peoples cars and/or money. |
