Default warranty on accessories

Does anyone know if there is any kind of warranty for dealer installed Chrysler parts? I purchased a rear air deflector from the dealer and had it installed by the dealer in December. I noticed it was getting loose on one end so I took it to the dealer last week to repair. They said they had to order a part and sent me on. It blew off today, scrached my hatch and busted on the pavement.

I just had it explained when I showed them the peeling problem on my Mopar wheels. If the item is installed on the car AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE OF THE CAR, it's covered under the same warranty as the car.

Afterwards, it is a one year warranty.

And beyond that, depends on the circumstances and how nice the service dept manager is...

First did they order the part??
Did they tell you not to drive the car or it could blow off.
It should be covered,I would really like to know what they
come up with.

Good news! The dealer replaced the deflector AND buffed out the scuff marks left when the old deflector blew off - all for NO CHARGE!
