I have an 03' with 35K that I drive the hell out of. The only thing I've had to replace are tires and brake pads. My mom has an 01' with
60K and she's only had some slight brake problems. Consumer Reports and most other car magazines give it outstanding ratings. All year models have gotten either 4 or 5 stars on all crash testing. The proof is in the pudding though: a few weeks ago I was rear-ended. The other vehicle completely smashed his front bumper, My rear bumper has only some minor cosmetic issues.
