I have gotten a warning for doing 85 in a 25 mph zone.
![]() I've gotten LOTS of warnings... DWB, DWBrunette and DWR! The last little town I lived in Kennesaw Georgia had so many cute cops, I really didn't mind the warnings!

Victoria,
Your sort of going against the lashing you gave us on the posting of female car washers on the other thread. Your female charms have gotten you out of (what seems like) a whole host of citations, and you don't mind telling us about it, but give us a tongue lashing if we (Male owners) care to admire those charms on female models washing cars.

I wasn't DWN
I didn't invite the policeman to stop me. Well, maybe the 85 in the 25 I did. But still, I was wearing clothes. its the porn that gets to me. I have younger female members of my family and we can't drive down the freeway without huge advertisements for whorehouses, dancing naked women, I don't even own a tv, couldn't possibly stand it, and so on. Its only progressed over the years. I feel for my nieces, what's the world (US) going to be like for women? I imagine like the rest of the world. sigh. Now, when I first visited here, i realized cars are typically a man's thing, and I do prefer men's toys... so here I was too and that it might not be a good idea, but many of the pics are of nice folks enjoying little shows and wives and puppies and such. I wouldn't want the dynamics of the sexes to change, I LIKE men!! very very much. I just remember when you hid that stuff and I know all men are interested in it either. Some prefer the real thing! I am a compulsive car washer and it was unexpected. I don't think I gave you a tounge lashing, I just thought I said thank you for all the help people have been - but grossed out is all. I just reread you post though, Models? models? com'on. (she's giving you the look you give speeders when they tell you they weren't speeding ) Well, i guess if the word indicates what they are doing - modeling something they want to sell you... then models isnt REALLY the word for those pics is it? ![]()

Likewise the 'speeding' stops: Have you ever noticed that on many limited access highways 80% of traffic is running 10mph or so over the posted limit (don't launch the Safety Lecture on me, just reporting the speed the public votes for.) So why was -your- car singled out for doing 74 in a 65 zone? Not cause you have a 'Legalize It' bumpersticker; or a dark complexion?

Wow! Getting it from both ends....
Victoria, I wasn't defending the post with the "girls/models" as I know the rules for this forum and even posted at the bottom that I hope Phil doesn't get in trouble. It just seemed odd your posting of getting away with speeding and knowing it was your female charms that got you out of it, against being upset with the pictures. Maybe I'm just looking at it the wrong way. Fritz, Most officers could care less if 80% of the traffic is doing 10-15mph over the limit. As long as everyone is keeping a safe distance. Believe it or not, speed limit signs in most areas are set below the "safe" limit because "they" know the public will go above that speed. There's always exceptions and we all know places that adhere strictly to what is posted for "safety/revenue gathering". As far as being singled out....change shoes for a moment. If you can only stop one, who would it be? They gray haired Cadillac driver or the long haired guy with the "legalize marijuana" sticker?

Cops usually know this, and act to single out the crazies who make it unsafe for everyone.... (or anyone who stands out). The proof of this is how safe the interstate highways are. Very low death rate per million passenger miles. --- As for who to stop: Long-Haired Legalize it or Grey-Haired Granny? Who is more dangerous? Or who is gonna give you probable cause for a drug search?

Trouble is, Mr. Legalize It probably only has a couple of dobies in his trunk. Granny, on the other hand, has been driving for 23 miles at 40mph in the left lane with her left blinker on. ![]()

Wow, this has turned into a who's or what's discussion. Victoria keep the topics coming dear, haven't seen debates on opinions too often here, just tech. info. As far as how the cruiser handles at speeds, do agree that aggressive driving at high speeds isn't it's thing. I have lowering springs and tokico shocks and it's smooth and surprisingly responsive at 100 mph. By the way I have a visor as well which gave no speed rating which I've modified with magnets where mine connects or rests on the windshield. Had to because silicone wouldn't hold for more than a day. Must be working broke 100 a few times and the visor is still there.[8)]
