shift knob

anyone have the silver peel off their auto shift knob....if so did you replace it with anything other than the factory knob

[8)]I didn't have the silver peel off but maybe that's because I replaced it with one from Big Em Enterprises with in the first week.

who or what is Big Em and how do I get in touch with them. I called the dealer and they wanted 25 bucks for the knob....too much

Well, the auto shift knobs paint probably came off when you bang on it in fustration because it can't acclerate to get on the freeway.. [xx(]

In reality, it's just some cheap plastic ball, I would replace it with some heavy duty gear from big em.
