Default Bov help Please

RE: ... When you change a BOV ( ie HKS SSQV )do you need a block off plate for the stock surge valve?... some people say that when you do the change,it leaks on some PT's at the stock surge valve.

Are there any folks out there that can advise on this issue?

Thanks Dave

No, it doesn't leak. Ran both on my modified '03 GT and that car would make you pee your pants when you got on it. [?]

Hi Mean..so you think I do not have to have this plate?Because I am not familiar with the set up, do i just bolt on the HKS onto the new flange and leave the other complete unit in place in place or what?
Can you advise in laymans terms..
Thanks
