Default Speciality repair shop for PT's

Is there a shop that anyone knows of that is a PT only repair shop for service/performance items? I travel all over the USA and never saw anything like that. Have seen other makes with such a shop. We are currently in Arizona.

Just wondered, as I've seen VW only, Lexus/Toyota only, Corvette only and having a special shop only dealing with PT's could be a good thing. They could be a source for all the add-on goodies and able to be maybe a step above other do it all repair shops. Working on just one line of vehicles should make them get good, just by accident??

How about California Cruisers? You definitely would want to deal with them first hand by going directly to the shop.

Well your last statement obviously shows your knowledge base..or lack of it ...dealing with body/repair shops..that might be a good thing..better to have a shop that has dealt with these critters before than one that has not..trust me!!..dazzel..lol

The numbers aren't there for a speciality shop.
The reason european cars have them is they are different (most shops won't compete).
Vettes have been built for 50 years, and the owners usually have another car nad are willing to drop it off and pay a bit more.
Lexus/Toyota have huge numbers that can support the special shop.
Our little PTs are pretty darn reliable, most are daily transportation, and there really aren't enough to warrant a specialty shop. It may happen in a few years, when they need more work, and the numbers are higher. Those shops usually start with a Dealer mechanic who sees a need to do it.
