You want a fun car? Go look and drive the Mazdaspeed 3. Hatchback, handles great and is quick. [?] Scion TC is a pretty good looking car, but it is slow.

Just throw some money at Ford for one of there bizillion Mustand packages, lots of horse but also slow.
It just kills me, every show I go to some guy pulls up in a factory bought Mustand with dealer tags and gets a trophy, why? My friends Lambo'd, ram air hood, dual flowmaster, body kitted, 17" chrome mag wheels, and custom horse on the side, 97 Mustang is all home garage done, but never gets looked at.

Reliable?: 3 words. Made By Toyota.

yeah, at least as reliable as a cruiser. like fritz said, made by toyota.

not as practical as a cruiser. if, like me, you like the multiple options the cruiser gives for seating and hauling your stuff, then there is no comparison between the tc and cruiser.

of course, you could get the "box it came in" scion xb.....

If you're concerned about bucks and mpgs then yeah..., it's a Toyota. But I do agree about the new Mazdas, they are nice. I'm driving a GT, don't care about the mpgs or the bucks. I love that I can take out the rear seats and carry a whole lot, and have. I'm not sure you'd get that much in a Scion TC.
