Reverse ring ring

Do all the PT's make a ring ring sound when put into reverse or is it just the GT's? anyway mine used to make the sound now it doesn't, I wonder what is involved to fix this? gary[:I]

If your GT is ringing in reverse you must have distance sensors in your bumpers![)]

I guess it must be just rhe turbo, up untill now when you put her in reverse it would make 3 beeps, letting you know the car was in reverse, maybe it was an option you guys missed????

Gary, I believe it's a 5 speed only thing on the Turbo. Not on the Autos or n/a 5 speeds.

Mine does when I put it into reverse. And, yes it is a 5 speed and a GT. So, Gary you're not nuts. It should ring, ring. I have an extended warranty I'd be off to the dealer.

The ring ring this is only on the 5 speed HO turbo, it is because the reverse is so close to 1st, hope this helps

I believe the 5'speed manual has the reverse ring-ring because
it's very easy to be in first gear when you want reverse
and that can be quite a surprise
