N.A.D.A no PT Cruiser

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but seeing that I work at a dealership I always have a NADA book and I had noticed months ago that there wasn't a PT in there, and I just got my May book and still no PT in there...very strange, also, no Prowler...and how long ago did it come out??...1996?, no Viper...1992?, but there is Corvettes....hum?? very strange indeed...be cool James

Well, found out the deal here, PT Cruiser is listed with the trucks and vans... <img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle> I think thats wrong but hey, I'm just some fat guy so what do I know...be cool, James

According to all invoices I've seen, Chrysler lists the Cruiser as a 5-door wagon...

I think I tried to explain this in one of the other forums but Chrysler almost didn't build the PT Cruiser. When one of the federal agencies classified it as a "truck", CD couldn't start to build them fast enough because classifing it as a truck made the CAFE standards in reach for the truck division which pleased CD to no ends. With the PT listed at about 21 mpg, and a lot of the CD V8 trucks in the lower teens, CD was about to get fined $$$ big time for not reaching a certain goal. The PT helped CD meet that goal.
