I'm a little confused here....please clarify!

Ok, Here's what I'm confused about. Are the Chrome 2003 PT Cruiser and the 2003 PT Cruiser GT, 2 different cars? Or is the Chrome a package you can add-on to the PT Cruiser GT? I'm hoping it's a package you can add on to it because it really looks b****** like that. The reason i'm confused is because when I compared the 2 pics of the cars, the Chrome car doesn't say GT or Turbo on it like the electric blue one you see which is the GT. If anyone can please clarify this for me, it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

If the chrome is just some small package, you should be able to add it. If not, there are aftermarket pieces that accomplish the same, I believe.

Here's what makes me think it will be an option to add-on:

"The Chrome Accents option will be available on 2003 PT Cruiser Touring and Limited Edition models sold in North American and international markets later this year."

-Then again, it really didn't say on the 2003 PT Cruiser Turbo did it?

And here's what makes me think that it is a separate car than the GT:

"As the sixth version in the Chrysler PT Cruiser family, the new Chrome Accents PT Cruiser joins the Flames, Woodie and Dream Cruiser Series 1 models, as well as the 2003 Chrylser PT Turbo due this fall..."

-In this statement it mentions the Chrome Accents as a car, not an option

The chrome package is an option for 2003. MSRP is $1,270 for Touring Edition and $595 for Limited Edition.Check intro to this site for all the details.

The chrome packager is just that, a package. You can add it on to any Limited or Touring Edition 2003 model.

The PT Cruiser GT is an entirely new model which comes with a turbo engine, sport suspension, and more. The Chrome package isn't available on the GT.

Then if it is not available on the turbo, there's always aftermarket stuff, and if you do it yourself, it could even be cheaper.
