every time I get out of my car I get a static shock from the door frame. Has any one else had this problem? Any suggestions ?

Before you slide off the seat and after you open the door, put a foot on the ground and hold on to the metal portion of your door as you get out. You should be well-grounded enough to avoid being shocked.

Static shock dosn't seem to be a problem in central Florida. I think it's the humidity level. When I lived in Michigan, I got zapped constantly.
