I would suggest reading the pros and cons of the various aftermarket systems and what engine modifications that need to be done to handle the extra horsepower at the various PT forums. Also the Whipple Supercharger requires some cutting of the frame engine cradle, which may weaken the structural integrity. After you add up the expense and possible problems, the GT or Dream Cruiser 2 with the factory turbo will seem like a bargain. The turbo engine is a completely different design and all the internal parts are heavy duty. As mentioned before, if anything goes wrong with the factory setup, a trip to the dealer to fix it under warranty is all that is required, plus you get the 7yr/70,000 mile limited powertrain warranty.
As far as performance, the numbers being posted appear to favor the factory turbo setup, at least with the reported 1/4 mile ET's over a supercharger. Again, your mileage may vary.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
