First post newbie here, so a big HOWDY to all and I sure love my 02! I've noticed that while driving, the CD player and surrounding dash gets hot to the touch, even when the heater or the CD player is not being used. I am worried that this may shorten the life of the stereo, or may be a sign of a more serious problem. Has anyone else seen this?

That sounds like something you ought to check out with the dealer service dept as soon as possible.
