A Sore PT

My PT has a ding in the front door and it is driving me crazy.Is it hard to pull the door panel off and try to fix it myself? or should I take it to the car hospital? Can't sleep at night'''Bud

I'm not sure about taking the door panel off, but probably the best thing to do is find a "dent repair" dealer in you area. Most dents cost about $70 but they do an excellent job as long as there's no creases or paint repair needed. It only takes about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes so it's drive in/drive out service.

Bud you might be able to use one of those suction cup dent removers, another thing I've read onmy motorcycle forums is that dry ice will cause small dents to pop out (not sure on this one though) and if you do try the dry ice thing...definitly do not hold it bare handed...LOL...get some very thick leather gloves.

Sup Bud...sorry bout your PT...look for someone around were you live that does PDR (paintless dent repair)..that is you very best bet, go to some of the dealerships around your town and ask if they know of anyone..aaa, no dry ice..lol

Bud, sorry to hear about the dent. I know that's gotta hurt. Although, not as bad as my son backing into my 2001 Taupe LE in our own driveway at our house ($3,000 repairs). Anyway, check around for a "Dent Wizard", well that's what they're called in my town. Probably same thing CREWZIN and WUWU are talking about. Good luck.

My PT got hit by a runaway shopping cart one day, so I found a Ding-King at Target. It worked fairly well, it still has a small crease that wouldn't come out, but it's a lot better. This spring my babys gonna get flames that will cover the boo-boo.<img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle>

on halloween night some little s.o.b's having a pumpkin fight yes i said a pumpkin fight !! i had fallen asleep watching t.v. my wife wakes me up says did you hear that?? i say what ?? she said a loud bang i said no but let me go look around well i go outside and all over my drivers door is pieces of pumpkin i clean it all off all looked ok at midnight,two days later having car washed i notice a dent right above the door handle,paintless dent guy around the corner 95 % better thank god!! i was and still am pissed when i think about it would love to know who those kids were !!
