traction control noise??? mine doesn't do it!

Does your PT make noise when the traction control is engaging??? I think its supposed to but mine doesn't ... or perhaps I don't know what the noise is! I seem to notice a difference when the traction control engages, but am I fooling myself??? Does the light (blue) that flashes on the dashboard mean that its working or just that its trying to engage??? Should I have it checked out?

Sounds like yours is working just fine. Mind don't make noise either just flashes the indicator light. I think the ABS makes noise but not the low speed traction control!

There's no reason for traction control or ABS to be making noise unless there's a basic brake problem like chattering pads or rotors with hot spots.

2sb, have you tried your anti lock brakes? They do make noise and vibrate like crazy!! First time I used mine I instinctively backed off the brakes cuase of noise and vibration.

I don't have antilock brakes but you're problem still goes back to the brake basics. It generally sounds like one or more sets of pads are grabbing and the cycling of the antilocks is amplifying the problem. [img][/img]
