I am handicapped,my left arm is several inches shorter than my right arm. I cannot prop up the hood. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can accomplish this task?

Dennis,
This answer to your question is hood struts. There are a number of places that sell them but a lot of us feel that Bleneb struts are the easiest to put on. No holes to drill, everything just fits right into place. Once installed, the hood just has to be pushed up a foot or so and the struts will take it the rest of the way. Closing can be done with one hand as you just have to pull the hood down to about 18 inches above the latch and drop it...again, only needing one hand. Hey Dennis, I have just recently purchased a PT as well, but I have seen people puting hood struts on their cruisers. I think that would help you out. PT-Tuning has a kit.
