I just got my PT on the 18th. I love it. I traded in a 01 Toyota MR2 Spyder. A big difference.

Traded a 1997, Plymouth Breeze, 2.0L with less than 30K miles in May, 2002 for our 2002 Inferno Red TE.Couldn't hold out any longer for a PT and glad we made the move.

I traded a 1994 Toyota Celica w/75,000 absolute trouble-free miles on it in mint condition for my PT. There are times when I really miss that car. It was pure heaven to drive, sporty, economical, great lines, and 100% bulletproof reliable. The PT is the first four-door sedan that I've ever owned.

No, the PT has been a really good car for me. I went through the usual recalls..fuel lines, gas tank, and steering clicks..but that was more than I went through in the entire 6 years that I had the Celica. It was the first new car I ever owned. When I traded it in, it still had the original battery, brakes, clutch, you name it. I changed the timing belt at 60K like advised, but that was an incredible car. The PT knocked my socks off for the retro styling. That's the reason I bought it. I never would have considered another American-made car. I miss the performance and handling of the Celica. The fit and finish were superb. The PT is definatley a fun and useful car though. I lowered it, two-toned it and put color-matched smoothies on it and it looks great..I don't regret buying it in the least.

Just bought my girlfriend a digital camera for X-mas, so maybe I can steal it back and take one..unfortunatley it's in "winter-mode" studded snows, original painted 5-spokes, and it's filthy..but maybe I can find one from this past summer that a friend took. Or you can check back in the first few months of the "PT of the Week" archive and see it before the smoothies went on. My name is Larry and I'm from Spokane, Wa. It's silver and taupe 2-toned. Jody was nice enough to post some the summer before last.
