Hey guys, I'm new to this board. My buddy just bought a 2003 turbo and we have alot of ?'s Can or how do you turn the boost up? With my Grand National we have different ways such as adj wastegates, different chips, boost solenoids and electronic boost commands. Is the turbo on the PT's controlled electronically? ( how is it controlled from the factory?)My buddy that owns the PT talked to a couple vendors and they said that in the next couple months they are coming out with an electronic boost controller. They said the PT's they have tested are only putting out 6.5-7.5 lbs of boost.He would like to get the max out of the turbo and get it up to the 12-14lbs they say it is capable of. I've been searching through this board and have seen alot of questions on the boost but no real answers. We haven't hooked his boost gauge up yet to see how much boost he is actually running but I figured I'd try and get a head start. Any help would be appreciated! Sorry so long.

did you look at old posts also?? i here the boost is up there at 12 already look up older posts and welcome to the board !! hey what did your friend get?? color etc, and where are you guys from ??

He bought an Electric blue 5 speed turbo with a moon roof, not sure about all the option but he probably got it loaded. He traded in his 2001 pt it was the maroon color (I know that's not what they called it) but it looked maroon to me. We are from PA. Ya I looked at old posts and a couple other boards and noone really had an answer but I expected that because I know the turbo model is new. Any help you guys can give me would be great. TIA
