Default another GT exhaust ?

Who has changed their GT exhuast system? What brands did you go with? Other than outside sound, did you notice any diff? How about in cab resonance?(sp) My Heartthrob dual system just arrived yesterday. It LOOKS loud. One 30' resonator with dual resonated SS tips that turn up. 2.50" piping. It's NOT stainless but I don't plan on driving on the salt covered roads anyways. Much to my chagrin(sp), it's one of those that you need to drop down the right side pipe to remove the spare. (what a bitch) I'm thinking, I'll drill a hole through the right side hanger bolt and use a wing nut instead of a bolt and use a cotter pin to keep it from working it's way loose. This way it i do ever need to access the spare I won't need a wrench, I hope... Can't wait for it to dry/warm up! With my luck, it will be GET WHATCHA PAID FOR! CHEAPO!

Think positive!!! The Hearthrob system is great. Not too loud.....installs fairly easily..... looks good. As far as the spare tire "problem", How many times in the past year have you had to use the spare tire? Enjoy!

I installed the heart throb exhaust on my 03 cruiser, I love this exhaust so much. Sounds good, not to loud sounds really good when downshifting gears. I left the spare there and made a quick release to get to it if I have to. Installing it was not bad, next step is headers.

ok, thanks folks for the encuragement. I looked at the OEM exhaust today and it seems it's a 2 pipe design. One from the cat to the axel and one from the axel to the muffler. The Hearthrob isn't the best flow design but maybe the upsized piping will help that. My kids talked me into the duals. Heck for the price if I don't like it I still will be able to sell it to someone...Will try installing tomorrow if it stays above 40 or so...Wish me Luck! I'll need it! LoL!
