KGDPTBLUE, I can live without the glove box light, I can turn the overhead on, BUT since when did they stop putting a light under the hood? I'm putting one in, I can't belive they left it out. Dito on the bean counters!

No unusual sounds or noises in my new PTC, yet. I did have it under-coated (DC calls it "sound shield") which is supposed to cut down on noise. The car seems solid and well made. I am pleased with the overall build-quality. But, it does seem like DC left out a number of small but very useful features in the 2003 model, some of which couldn't have saved them that much money. However, guess we should be happy DC finally came out with the more powerful turbo engine.

I don't hear any rattling, but I do hear a "whining" sound coming from the back seat.
Oh, wait. That's my three-year old daughter. If you haven't cruised Maryland, you haven't cruised. (unless you cruised somewhere else) |

I had to chuckle at the poster who had never had a car with a light in the glove box. I don't recall a car I've owned that had one!
But with all of 212 miles on my GT, I just noticed that I can see daylight when I look between where the driver door meets the upright along the windshield. I think the rubber molding is not placed properly. I love the car and hate to go running in to the dealer locally, but I also don't want to let it go. Or should I start a list for the first service visit? It's not like it will ice over here in Tucson in the meantime. |

Blame it on the Mexicans.

Exracylady,
Just ran out and sat in my Cruiser and didn't see day light anywhere. On my entire door frame there is rubber on the door and on the car frame. In between the two I see my electric blue paint and a glare from the sun on the paint. No daylight though. 2003 Electric Blue GT |
