Default Front end shake THANKS

To All

Pulled the wheels off the cruiser this evening and there they were
the STAR WASHERS removed them and the front end is 90% better and Im tickled to death. This was about to start me looking for another car.
I rechecked the air pressure and with a little ajustment I think it will be OK again Thanks. In replie Im from southwest VA.

Thanks Tony

So, what were the star washers there for?
Are they only to be used on the stock wheels?

They keep the rotors from falling off going down the assembly line.

It takes too long....an extra bean! Remember, they used to be on rear wheel drives to hold the drums on. The old wheels had raised dimples where the countersunk holes were for lug nuts. This gave a "crush" area for tension to keep the lugnuts tight. Also left room for star washers.
