I joined this forum last year as a new PT owner to gain knowledge on the PT, see and read what other owners drive, and to exchange information and ideas. It has been fine until Bob decided to start entertaining us with all his postings. He told us in the past he wasn't interested in running up the postings to gain stars but it is blatantly obvious that is what he is doing. I'm gathering from recent posts over the last few days other people than myself are getting tired of it as well. I used to enjoy going to this site in the evening to see what was new but not anymore. I'm about ready to drop out and find another forum. I know nobody cares one way or the other if I do but that's my 2 cents worth. To the moderator I say do away with the stars. A bunch of stars and 25 cents won't buy a cup of coffee and all it does is encourage drivel. If you agree fine. If not fire away. I have cast iron underwear and a kevlar vest.

Fly American I need the job.

Hang in here. Bob's just one facet of the crystal. WE also have people hyping goods, kids with more money than brains, and dinosaurs who think they know stuff but it's all out dated (me). But that keeps it interesting and under it all we all have a soft spot for PTs and usually try to help. As males (mostly) there's still the ego thing. I promise, we'd all be worse in person. But still...it's interesting

Personally, I like Bob. And I was all ready to make a mountain of money taking bets/making a pool for when he gets post number 3000 (can you say March?)

Hey Jeff, I don't know how your going to make a Mt. of money since that would be easy for Bob!
Ofcourse some nay sayers might have taken some wind out of his sails!

I think this forum is neat and sometimes funny, informative but in general a good place to pass the time.

I do agree however, that if you have something to say or a question to ask it should be kept to the forum that it is posted in. If there is a need for a BS forum than make one but if it is about turbos let it be about turbos! if it is about wheels and so on....

There my 2cents.<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

Cruise on!

Bob's posts don't prevent anyone else from registering their thoughts/information on the forum. If there was a bandwidth or storage space issue I would understand the gripe. I didn't know cast iron undies could get in a wad so easily.
