Finally updated my website. The video and upcoming shows sections are not up yet. Those should be working within a week or two. Please let me know what you think of the format.

Really good PT homepage. I liked the pics and the descriptions. Just one question, after looking at the "shaved door handles" pics. How do you get into the car?
If you haven't cruised Maryland, you haven't cruised. (unless you cruised somewhere else) |

I have a remote. When I hit the button on it, a motor pulls the latch so the door can open. A springloaded device pushes the door out so it doesn't catch the latch again. Since getting the popper in, it has been really reliable and easy to get into.

So do you carry around a spare remote battery, just in case?

No need for a spare battery. I have a second way in that takes about 5 minutes, if all else fails...without even breaking a window! <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
Basically, there's no way to lock myself out of the car, even if the battery of the car dies AND the remote dies, at the same time. RN See Mephisto ![]() 2001 Silver LE 5-speed with: way too much to list here (255 character limit) |

Love the car.
Since you asked for feedback on the format: Even though it is worth to effort to see everything, site navigation seems to require a lot of frame scrolling and window resizing. Your title "Mephisto" is cropped at the bottom on my browser (IE 5.1 Mac). That is, the bottom of the M and the p are always missing. The pictures look nice. Thanks for sharing your site. I look forward to seeing the video. Edited by - bemo on 02/21/2003 02:11:06 |

The title isn't cropped. It was cut off that way by the program that made it and it shows like that on all computers. I used a Mac to make it and tested with Netscape and IE. What kind of Mac are you using and how big is the screen? I've tried it on the 17" iMac, a small laptop and some somewhat gimpy Windows computers and not had to resize anything yet.
