i'm a new pt owner, and its winter....so i'm hoping she ain't a gas guzzler come spring. any comments?

I took a regular pt out fo a cruise around the twincities, on the interstate, the gas milage reeks 150 miles and fried 3/4 a tank. consometion's fishy going on

GT that I have had for a month. Drive it hard. Started at 19MPG and last tank was 22MPG. Seems to go up a mile a tankful. Will stop soon I am sure. Put a K&N filter in after 1000 miles. Beats the hell out of my RAM pickup at 15MPG.

I have about 500 mi on my GT 5spd now and I am getting about 17-18 driving it pretty hard around town. Highway mileage goes way up. Haven't done enough to really measure it yet though.

edit: I just calculated my last fillup and and I was up to 19.6 mpg around town. Guess it's getting broken in.

We have about 400 miles on our 2003 and with the last tank of gas we got 22 mpg.

My wife has an '01 Touring and I have an '02 Touring. Hers averages between 21 and 25 mpg. Mine averages between 19 and 23 mpg. Last June I got 27 mpg driving up to CTF2 at Niagra Falls.

2001 Automatic - 25,000 miles - 21.1 MPG average. I have a record of every gallon of gas purchased and every mile traveled. High 25 mpg on road trip. Low 17 mpg - city driving over snow and ice.
