E&G's website is not updated, but if you telephone them, they will tell you they do make one that fits the turbo. The model number ends with GT instead of 01.
I installed the top section today. I ran out of light and couldn't find my drill to install the bottom section. I'll take a digital pic and post it tomorrow. Look at Revel Enterprises - they advertise two or more billet grilles that fit the turbo, including the new E&G one. I also saw the E&G one on ebay yesterday. I have to say I like the looks of the grille better than the stock grill, but I'm not head over heels in love with it like I expected to be. Installation is easy though, and the quality is much better than the stock grille, which, once you remove, you realize is a cheap piece of plastic with labels in Spanish on the inside. Mostly I like the quality of the billet and the fit. I am glad I didn't go with extruded, just the feel of real metal up front is nice. If you haven't cruised Maryland, you haven't cruised. The forum was out of service, so I couldn't post the pic of the billet grille on the turbo until now. Here it is.

That's what I'm talking about! Way to pull the trigger Jeff V. Nice grille.
May I ask what your reservations were/are - the ones that kept you from loving it unconditionally? |

bemo, I think I was so on the fence about getting the billet or the chrome that I was cursed to second-guess myself either way I decided. I look at the billet grille next to the chrome headlight trim and think "Damn, it doesn't quite match." On the other hand, the billet one was available immediately and only $300, but the chrome one was four week wait and $500. And I am NOT paying $500 for a grille.
Anyway, my cheap a$$ hangups aside, I do love the grille. It fits perfectly, just like rens said. Even when I try to scrutinize it, I can't find something wrong. One tip I'll share - if you start with an awl pilot rather than drilling a 3/16" hole first, be sure to hand tighten the screws into the lower facia and let them self tap - the drill will go through it in no time and strip the threads. I was lucky to have a quick release finger, I tried the first one with a 7.5 volt cordless drill and the screw was done in about one second. If you haven't cruised Maryland, you haven't cruised. I wish I could see the grill in person to see how far off the chrome vs billet is. From here is looks great. That $500 does sound pretty expensive.

Well, Cal, if the difference between the look of the headlight trim and the grille doesn't bother you in the photo, it definitely won't bother you in person. I think the photo makes it a lot more obvious than when I stand there and stare... And stare...

You will probably get more comfortable as you experiment with the safe mods 1st. I think we were probably all that way at 1st...until we got "bit" then it is off to the races

I just got my PT. Never had a cool car like this before, and yes I had a little apprehension at first about doing mod's. My first one was an easy 5 min. switch of the shifter from kustum kruzer. My second was the grill.and like Jeff V my cheap a$$ wasn't about to pay $500.00 for a grill. I got an OEM grill of E-bay for $25.00 bucks. 3 coats of chrome paint and 3 coats of clear coat later the grill looks great. 10 mins. to install and if I want to change the look it's easy to switch back to the old grill. Next is window tint for the driver and passenger side windows (feel naked without it) and thats about it for my mod's. OUCH!!! dam bug!! WHAT AM I SAYING !! I need rolled visor, running boards, custom wood, billet door pulls, wood dash ventknobs sillplatesRearfenderskirtsSmoothiewheelsK&NAirInta keDuel exhaustSteeringWheelstrutbarfloormatsshortyantenna taillighttrimssfueldoorcovercontinentalkit

Wave, I sure would like to see a pic of that chrome painted grille. I had considered doing that and posted about it in here, but I was STRONGLY advised by many not to do that and figured I better not waste time and money.

Hi Jeff, I know what you mean about seeing the small differences. I installed the chrome "spears" on my doors yesterday and stood there and stared noticing that they were just a little different than the chrome on the wheels. I even cleaned up the wheels thinking that would make them match, but no. In reality I doubt that anyone else is going to notice the difference.
