Default Gas Mileage Booklet

I've tracked my mileage since it was brand new, and get: 21 cty and 25 highway, on my Turbo.

I searched and searched for glovebox size booklet specifically designed for keeping track of gas mileage. I looked in auto parts stores, truckstops, office supply stores, etc. etc. and nobody had one.

I finally just created my own, but you would hink there would be one somewhere.

If you know of one, please post a link.

Thanks.

You've done the right thing in creating your own booklet--I've been doing the same for years. You can buy a small "spiral notepad" in most any stationary or drugstore for around a dollar or so, and, with luck, the front cover may be a "close match" to the paint on your PTC.

Greetings from beautiful Washington State ("The Evergreen State")

I just keep the reciept that the gas pump prints out. Lot of info there, gallons, price per gallon, total cost, date time of purchase, address. I just write the milage on the reciept and when there is enough of them stuffed in the shelf in the center console, I take them all stapple them together and throw them in my reciept file. I get on average 22 mpg, but it has steadily been improving since I got my PT Turbo three months ago. Off the lot it was like 15 mpg. Gas isn't cheap these days and fuel probably won't be getting cheaper any time soon, but think of all the fun your having ripping it up. So rock on!!!

Found mine at Office Depot close to where I live.
Mileage hops around 23 to 27.

Greetings fellow PT fans.
If you are interested in tracking your mileage and can run Excel spread-sheets... I created one that calculates MPG, total gallons burned, and average MPG. It has an area for notes for each entry, a graph page, and one page is large enough for a year's worth of normal driving.

When I fill up, I record the odometer reading and the trip reading on the fuel slip. Then reset the trip counter. Later, when at the computer, I open the spread sheet, enter a few numbers, (& hit save!) The spread-sheet does the calculations. Very easy.

Wouldn't know how to attach it to this message. Send me an e-mail & I'll reply with the spreadsheet attached.
Happy Cruisin!
